Primary Functions (including job purpose, job scope etc.)
    Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of raw material, MRO items, and WIP to support efficient plant operations and high level of customer satisfaction. Responsible for the Production Planning function. Responsible for the Purchasing function according to policies and practices determined by Corporate and generally accepted purchasing principles. Responsible for the Logistics function, including inbound and outbound deliveries and for the Import and Export functions.
    Major Functions
    1.Maintain and control the inventory of raw material and MRO items to support the production plan and the customer requirements.
    2.Regularly interface with the Sales function to forecast, schedule, and control the flow of materials. Supervise the Production Planner.
    3.Administer the Purchasing function/process to follow ECO and local purchasing practices and procedures. Implement IDEAS within SEECO.
    4.Maintain necessary database to develop a Master Production Schedule to support customer requirements and efficient manufacturing processes.
    5.Schedule future raw material and tooling requirements using MRP system.
    6.Maintain good working relationship with internal and external customer and vendors.
    7.Manage the Shipping and Receiving function, including the Import and Export function.
    8.Research vendors and purchasing strategies that continually provide the best overall quality at the lowest price.
    9.Develop cost reduction programs that reduce internal costs and vendor costs.
    10.Maintain direct vendor relations with the key vendors.
    11.Control the Logistic functions for high customer satisfaction and minimum cost.
    12.Assure that quality , environmental system and procedures that meet the requirements of the standards (QS9000, VDA6.1, ISO14001) are maintained and effectively used.

    Qualification Requirements:
    This position requires a BS degree in a related business field. It also requires skills in PC based business software and MRP systems. A complete understanding of MRP and related business systems is essential to this position. The position also requires good oral (both English and Mandarin) and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and r management. Must have strong leadership skills and be able to manage in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
